School Curriculum

At Stamford Park Primary School, our curriculum is designed to engage and motivate children, helping them to build a broad and secure base of knowledge, understand the world around them, and prepare for their future. We aim to equip all pupils with the essential skills they need to achieve their full potential.

Our curriculum is underpinned by the National Curriculum and our four key values: cooperation, consideration, resilience and respect. We also promote inclusion and diversity through carefully planned learning experiences, ensuring that all children feel represented, supported and challenged.

Our curriculum aims to:

  • Build knowledge progressively, so children remember more over time
  • Develop key skills in reading, writing and mathematics, as well as across all foundation subjects
  • Provide rich cultural experiences through topics, assemblies and lessons
  • Celebrate diversity and promote respect for others
  • Meet the needs of our community through a personalised and inclusive approach

In this section of our website, you will find information about the subjects taught at Stamford Park Primary School and the content covered in each year group. Please note that we review our curriculum annually to ensure it remains relevant and meets the needs of our pupils, so some content or the order of topics may change.

If you require further information or would like a paper copy of any documents, please contact your child’s class teacher (their email is on your child's class pages) or the school office at office@spprimary.org.uk.
