Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is funding to improve the educational outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in schools in England.
At Stamford Park Primary School, we receive an extra £1,550 for every eligible pupil who is registered for free school meals. We also receive an extra £2,690 for pupils who have been adopted from care or who are being looked after by the local authority. We use this extra money to provide additional opportunities and support for our eligible pupils in a range of ways, some of which include:
Targeted in-class academic support
Individual music lessons
Small group swimming lessons
Access to extracurricular clubs
Access to trips
Access to mental health support
We work with parents to see how this money should be best used to support their child's development and education at the school.
For further information, please see our Pupil Premium Policy below, along with our Pupil Premium Statement (detailing how we are spending our money) and our Review of Pupil Premium (detailing the impact this funding has had).
If you have any further questions, please contact Mrs Durrant (our Pupil Premium Lead) via the school office.

Families who have no recourse to public funds (NRPF) may also be eligible. If your family has NRPF status, please contact the school office to find out more.
Families eligible for targeted free school meals may get additional benefits, including extra funding for schools to support your child’s education.
For families who get:
End of Transitional Protection
Temporary protections that allowed children to continue to receive free school meals without rechecking eligibility will end in July 2026.
From September 2026, all families will need to meet the updated eligibility criteria. You don’t need to do anything as we will automatically recheck your eligibility. We will let you know if anything changes.
