Yearly Achievements

2024  - 2015

  • The Stamford Park Primary School PTA raised a total of £18,600 in the academic year of 2024-2025, an increase of £800 on the previous year.
  • £6445 of this was spent on subsidising trips for different year groups, reducing the cost for parents overall and subsidising the visits for children who are less fortunate than others.
  • At Christmas time, the children’s special cinema trip and reindeer visit were also funded by the PTA.
  • A special visit from ‘Steel’, the gladiator, from the television program was funded by the PTA. The children were very excited to meet him and listened to his journey from attending school to becoming a professional athlete.
  • £800 was spent on resourcing a ‘Wellbeing Room’, a quiet place for children to work in and feel calm and safe.
  • £2000 was spent on resources to use during lunchtime play, as there has been a massive initiative to provide children with more fun and engaging outdoor play.

2025 - 2026

  • The Stamford Park Primary School PTA raised a total of £16,000 in the academic year of 2025-2026.
  • £3000 was allocated towards new resources for children who need extra resources to access our curriculum fully. Items such as stand up desks, wobble cushions and word processing software was purchased with our PTA money.
  • £1000 was spent on a new 3D printer for the children to use during their Design and Technology lessons.
  • £1000 went towards purchasing new laptop trolleys, which are more secure and allow us to charge many computers at once. They also allow several classes to share the same set of computers, maximising their use.
  • £1000 was spent on a new projector for our Junior Hall. This allows PowerPoints, videos and backdrops to be displayed electronically during school assemblies and productions.
  • £4000 was spent resurfacing our MUGA (Multi-Use-Games-Area) which had reached the end of its safe lifespan.
