Stamford Park Primary School offers a bespoken English programme to all its pupils whose first language is not English.   

We very much welcome ALL children to our school and celebrate the wide range of languages spoken in our school. Where appropriate, those children who need more support in their learning of the English language will be given additional assistance. Our EAL department is lead by Ms. Esa, who works with the school staff to support all EAL children.

This support can vary and include: small intervention groups, one-to-one tuition, pre-teaching and in-class support.  We also have an EAL hub / NEST provision where children can play in small groups at break times, to help them settle in to school life.
