Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)
Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) at Stamford Park Primary School inspires curiosity about the world and other cultures. Through engaging, age-appropriate lessons, pupils develop confidence in listening, speaking, reading and writing in another language. Our curriculum encourages enjoyment, resilience and communication skills, while helping children gain an understanding of different traditions and ways of life.

How Modern Foreign Languages links with our school values:
Cooperation: We work with others within our school but also on an international level. We cooperate with children who are from different countries to ours.
Consideration: We challenge ourselves to learn aspects of another language and culture. We show consideration for the wider world and we are excited to do so.
Resilience: We are resilient learners, being confident to demonstrate our spoken and written language skills confidently.
Respect: We develop respect and tolerance of others. We learn about other cultures and learn how to be courteous to people who might be from a different country to ours.
