Science

How Science links to our school values;

Consideration - we need to learn about and understand our natural world in order to be considerate of it. Showing consideration through our investigations as we think about those we are working alongside and the resource we may be using.

Cooperation - we have to work together as pairs/teams/even whole classes to investigate new concepts and ideas. Testing out new theories and ensuring we all understand new scientific concepts.

Resilience - sometimes investigations can be difficult, they don't always work out the way we planned, but we must show resilience to try again and ask for help from those around us.

Respect - through our understanding of the natural world we can learn to respect all aspects of it. For example, respecting plants and understanding that they give us the oxygen we need to breathe.
