International Activities
The International School Award (ISA) recognises and celebrates the achievements of schools that do exceptional work in their international curriculum. The ISA rewards schools that have shown a commitment to embedding international awareness and understanding within their school. The British Council works with schools, supporting them and providing guidance, to enable young people to gain the cultural understanding and skills they need in today's world.
In recognition of the work we do at Stamford Park Primary, we have recently received the ISA (Foundation Level). This award recognises the importance of the international dimension that we have brought to our school already. It also forms the basis for many more exciting experiences yet to be had.
If you think you could support the school in our international activities, we'd love to hear from you. Please email the school: office@spprimary.org.uk
2026
This year we have been creating new penpal links with two schools in France. Year 6 and Year 5 have new friends that they have been corresponding with. The children have really enjoyed reading their letters from France and responding to them in French. We have also been creating collaborative Digipads with another French school. Children in Year 1, Year 3 and Year 4 have been exchanging photographs, identity cards and other pieces of work. The children are enjoying developing their language skills and getting to know more about their new friends!
