    African Drumming workshops were taking place in school on Friday as part of our work to raise awareness for Black History Month!

    Our junior children were brilliant at creating different beats, following rhythms and learning about the instruments. 🎶

    Last year, our Year 5 children took part in an art workshop called Dave Draws. Together, the children helped design a map of Altrincham, which is now displayed on Altrincham high street!

  • Pretty Muddy Charity Run!

    A number of our amazing staff took part in Pretty Muddy at the weekend, in order to raise funds for the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity. One of our Year 1 pupils has been receiving care from the Trust over the past four months, and we wanted to show our thanks. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to this charity!

    Today we are excited to be holding our first ever whole-school Eid Day. This is part of our ongoing work surrounding Race, Diversity and Inclusion at the school. The children have enjoyed the opportunity to dress up, learn more about Eid and enjoy a delicious lunch linked to this celebration.

  • Ramadan Assembly

    Today, Years 1 and 2 took part in a Ramadan assembly held by Gazzala from the Altrincham and Hale Muslim Association. Gazzala shared with the children the importance of fasting for Muslims during the month of Ramadan. The children really enjoyed listening and asked some fantastic questions! Many thanks to the Altrincham and Hale Muslim Association for visiting our school.

  • Downs Syndrome Day

    In support of Down Syndrome Day, a group of parents completed a sponsored walk in the local area this morning. The children were also educated about Down Syndrome and how everyone is unique in a series of assemblies this week. Stamford Park Primary School is an inclusive school where we recognise and celebrate that everyone is different. Well done to all the parents who took part - we hope you've got your feet up this evening!
