Year 4 Egyptian Day

The Year 4 children enjoyed engaging in different activities relating to our new History topic 'The Ancient Egyptians'. In the morning, they looked at real life artefacts, created pyramids and sarcophagi out of cardboard boxes, wrote their names in hieroglyphics on papyrus, made jigsaws to match pictures and produced their own Ancient Egyptian Lego scenes. In the afternoon, they also participated in an 'Ancient Egyptian' dance and sketched their own pyramids. Well done Year 4!
