English in Year 1

The children have been super busy this morning annotating our talk for writing text for Where the Wild Things are!  They have been looking for verbs, adjectives, words to move the story along and capital letters.  The children enjoy this activity as they get to understand what makes a great piece of writing, ready for them to write their own stories in the week!
