Judging the Stamford Park 'Frog' and 'Crocodile' competition
Finally, after a long time deliberating, we have chosen the winners of the Stamford Park 'Frog' and 'Crocodile' competition. There were many wonderful entries. Our kind visitors Lyndsey from the 'Friends of Stamford Park' and Jo and Libby from the 'Community Arts Centre' assisted in choosing the final design. I am delighted to announce that Zlata from Year 5 has won the competition for the new crocodile design and Moses from Year 6 has won the competition for the new frog design. A special mention goes to Woojin from Year 4 who has achieved second place by suggesting the incorporation of the 'Stamford Park Primary School' logo on the two animals. Both Zlata and Moses will receive a 'first prize' and Woojin a 'second prize' of art materials courtesy of the 'Community Arts Centre.' These will be delivered to school on Tuesday 22nd July and handed out to the children. All entries will be displayed in 'Altrincham Town Hall' from Wednesday 23rd July. Thank you very much to everyone who entered the competition.
