Our School Council have been working closely with CAFT charity to support their work. Their most recent fundraising campaign focused around collecting Easter eggs for disadvantaged families in the local areas. Well done to the school council for all their hard work!
Our children in Reception and Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to watch Jack and the Beanstalk at the theatre today. Everyone looked very impressive in their fancy dress too!
During Anti-Bullying week, each class produced a piece of artwork to be displayed around the school. We're very impressed with how they've turned out and wanted to share some of them with you.
Our school choir have been getting into the festive spirit this weekend by singing at the Stockdales' Christmas Fair!

African Drumming workshops were taking place in school on Friday as part of our work to raise awareness for Black History Month!
Our junior children were brilliant at creating different beats, following rhythms and learning about the instruments. 🎶

Last year, our Year 5 children took part in an art workshop called Dave Draws. Together, the children helped design a map of Altrincham, which is now displayed on Altrincham high street!
A big well done to our fantastic Year 5 pupils who took part in a Maths Competition at Stockport Grammar this week! They all did extremely well but sadly we've only been able to upload one photo here!
A number of our amazing staff took part in Pretty Muddy at the weekend, in order to raise funds for the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity. One of our Year 1 pupils has been receiving care from the Trust over the past four months, and we wanted to show our thanks. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to this charity!
Our Key Stage 2 children have had an amazing time during their Sports Week. They've had sessions in archery, bubble football, caving and even a climbing wall too! We're all looking forward to seeing what EYFS and Key Stage 1 get up to this week for their Sports Week!
Today we are excited to be holding our first ever whole-school Eid Day. This is part of our ongoing work surrounding Race, Diversity and Inclusion at the school. The children have enjoyed the opportunity to dress up, learn more about Eid and enjoy a delicious lunch linked to this celebration.
